I started Pampered Hippie because of my desire to help others and my love for being an artist. I wanted to find a way to combine my two passions into one! Not only did I want to help people find ways to make time for themselves with some self-care, but it was something I was learning myself! We all tend to get trapped in the busy cycle of our lives and can forget to make time for ourselves. Not only do I incorporate these items, but I also incorporate spiritual healing! My spiritual journey began a few years ago after a close friend of mine opened me up to a whole new community of like minded-people. Although every spiritual journey is different, there are many practices that unite us. One that has become very important to me is Reiki. A Japanese energy healing technique practiced since the early 20th century and was created by Dr.Mikao Usui. It is not a cure all, but rather assists in healing by helping clear blocked energy from the body, allowing you to find relief which can positively affect your health.
